The Sawayaka Kyusu is handcrafted in Tokoname, Japan, and finished in a natural ash glaze, shizen-yuyaku. It is formed when kiln ash settles onto the clay body during firing and melts into a surface of mottled, textured green unique to each piece.

The heavily crackled exterior, the glazed cream interior, and the distinctive teal-green finish make this one of the most visually arresting pieces in AICHA's ceramics collection.

 At 340ml, it brews comfortably for two and does so with the precision of a fine stainless steel mesh filter that catches even the smallest leaf particles for a consistently clean cup.
